We need environmental and ecological protection but we need to do this in a rational and intelligent way. This matter of the provision of energy and its security using realistic means is in danger of not achieving the publicity and debate it so badly requires. We see a collapse of the global economy, a consequence of greed and irrationality. Soon it may happen that industrial wind turbines for example may be viewed as a visible sign of that greed and irrational approach to our needs and not the vacuous green symbolism hoped for by the decision makers!
